Home schooling is coming along well. Rylan finished his pre-K curriculum, and is now working on "Little Lincoln Kindergarten" as well as supplementing with several other materials. Brayden is sailing through his Calvert Kindergarten curriculum as well as the supplements. I am still emphasizing phonics and thinking skills. Rylan is excelling in natural science and reading, Brayden is excelling in math. He is very adept at a fractions leaning toy, so I decided to download him a fractions book and he got every answer correct! Currently we are doing some fall and Thanksgiving activities/lessons.
Here's some recent pics of our archaeological dig form studying prehistoric man and ancient Egypt:
I made this in the morning before they woke up, there was an object in each grid

Also buried was a hard sand pyramid with a sphinx inside, they had to excavate it

We also made a model of the Nile River with a cake pan, foil lined river and grass seed. They flood the Nile to water the fertile crescent. I'll try to get a pic later.
