This is how the chrysalis looked this morning, nice and clear:

There was only about a 10 minute window in which time it emerged, we were home but missed it!

We let it go a few hours after it emerged and its wings were ready. Its been getting cooler, and they need 62 degrees or higher for flight. It clung to Rylan's pant leg, then flew to our butterfly bush, of all things. ;)
