Another Monarch update:

Bryan says this is boring, and he calls me a dork, so I hope you don't mind more "bug pictures" ;)
(He did buy me a better magnifying glass though!)

Updates:
2 more eggs have hatched and are thriving in petri dishes.

There are now *5* larvae living, eating and pooping on 2 milkweed plants in their habitat. Our total count is now 7. I would like more, of course!

This one has a very unique light color pattern
I expect the 2 biggest ones to go into chrystalis very soon, the next day or two. Their tentacles are droopy, and I believe they are in their 5th (final) instar. I hope they turn to chrystalis this weekend while we are here to watch!

You are NOT a "dork"! I'm interested, too. Who do you think let her start with moths and monarchs when she was 5 yrs old? (signed) "dork's mom
