We held our annual Cinco de Mayo party on May 3rd.
It was SO nice to have such great friends and family attend! This year we made it a potluck, and everyone brought such yummy food! All the kids had a great time, as did the adults.
The trampoline stayed busy

As did the line to wait for a turn

We had Mexican pizza, 7 layer dip, pulled pork burritos with fixings, guacamole, salsa, chips, chicken tortilla soup cookies, and tres leches cake

My chicken tortilla soup, made with my Adli's knock off Le Creusset 5 qt. Dutch oven.

For drinks we served Tecate, Dos Equis and Sol Mexican beer, Lime Budweiser and Margaritas.

I was SO happy the lilacs were in full bloom for the party! Many guests took cuttings home.

Everyone was impressed by the excellent behavior of our dogs. They kept an eye on the kids, and didn't try to steal any food nor leave the yard.

The kids played well together and had fun playing catching frogs.

No, she didn't have any alcohol ;)

Our guests sported sombreros!

Oh, there it is!

We didn't' do any lame-o pinata stuffers like play dough, pencils, and bubbles. We did real CANDY this year ;) Next year we will have an adult pinata as well.

Hope to see you again next year!

We had a wonderful time at the party Kate! Everything was great and the kids really enjoyed the pinata and trampoline. The food was awesome and I can't say I ever been to Cinco de Mayo party as fun as this one. Thanks again for being such a wonderful hostess.
